THANK YOU to everyone who was able to attend the inaugural Kent Butler Summit: The Future of the Barton Springs Zone of the Edwards Aquifer. If you would like to view the presentations in pdf format, click here.

The annual Kent Butler Summit is an opportunity to share information and a “call to action” to characterize and address current and future challenges in the management of the Barton Springs Zone.

Kent Butler has been described as a visionary and “the best friend the Barton Springs Aquifer ever had”. Kent died in a tragic accident while hiking in Yosemite National Park on Friday, May 13, 2011.  This summit is dedicated to his memory.
